Jessica Crane, Wealth & Business Coach has received the Innovation of the Year award, sponsored by VTCT, at HJ’s British Hairdressing Business Awards 2020 for her online business coaching programme Systemise for Success. This award reviewed and recognised performance, impact and quality over the past 12 months.
The award recognises UK entrepreneurs within the hairdressing industry who have recently made their business dream a reality, taking concept to finished product.
Systemise for Success is a 12 module online programme designed specifically for salon owners. The programme provides ongoing accountability, a community of salon owners and expert support whilst teaching how to maximise profit and grow the business. Taking concepts from the best experts in the world and adapting them to the hair industry, Jessica is challenging the way salon owners operate their businesses and in turn helping to transform them on a personal journey.
HJ’s British Hairdressing Business Awards, now in its 22nd year, promote professionalism, innovation and excellence, while recognising those individuals and teams who work tirelessly to raise the profile of the hairdressing industry. Adapting to the new normal, this year all the award winners were announced during a virtual ceremony on Monday 25th January.
Jessica Crane impressed the judges with her business plan, and how planned aims and objectives translated into evidenced success after the product’s inception. Marketing prowess was also factored in, with the judging panel wanting to see strong promotional skills which delivered the innovation successfully to market. The judges also noted Jessica’s commitment to building the business throughout 2020.
On the win, Jessica said, “Thank you, I am shocked! I want to say thanks to all of our clients and everyone that’s joined this year. Without them I couldn’t do what I do and especially this last year. I’m thrilled!”
Commenting on the announcement, Jayne Lewis-Orr, executive director of HJ’s British Hairdressing Business Awards said, “The hair industry has faced an unprecedented challenge this year, but it feels wonderful to recognise and celebrate the individuals like Jessica who have continued to demonstrate incredible talent, creative ingenuity and great business acumen.
“To launch a new initiative from scratch takes huge amounts of passion and unrelenting commitment. It’s no wonder that Jessica attracted so much attention with her entry because it was full of individuality, founded on brilliant business structure and marketing ideas. A huge congratulations to Jessica who should be very proud of her achievement.”
