Before joining the Business Mentoring group in October I had fell out of love with my business a business I had built over 28 years, I had noticed a dip in clients and trade. I was frustrated being the busiest stylists paying my staff to watch me and I started to feel resentment. At that time looking back I had a negative mindset and it was filtering into my team. I had no direction, was overwhelmed and drowning in my business alone, lost with the blinkers on not knowing how to change direction.
Now having attended 2 workshops I am engaged in my business and feel I have found all the pieces to my jigsaw and have started to build the bigger picture, recognizing where I want to be and the new path to take in-order to get there. I can say I have had that light bulb moment. I engage and empower my team involving them in decision making and have revised their needs and targets to motivate and get the best from them. I am planning a new refit, product brand, website and marketing strategy resulting from connecting with who my ideal client is and how I can get more of them.
My mindset is focused and I am excited about the future plans of my business and the new direction its taking. I am now the business owner and not the busiest stylist and who knows maybe a second salon could be on the cards
